I get a lot of great feed back about this painting. I did a series of paintings featuring these made-up creatures called "Lil' Nips". I work a lot with spray paint. Actually, I'm to the point where almost every painting I make is 100% spray paint. It's my favorite paint to work with and I love experimenting with it to see what it can do. Just like when working with ceramic, there's always an element of surprise.

SKULLS: CERAMIC
I keep these on the shelf year round, but they're especially cool around Halloween time. I've loved all things skull for a long time. As a matter of fact when my wife and I were dating, I bought her an army green thermal shirt that had creepy black skulls going down the sleeves for a Christmas present. I thought it was an awesome shirt, but you should have seen her face.
